Yellow latouria
Dendrobium section "Latouria" is commonly referred to as the "evergreen orchid". It is primarily a winter, spring bloomer with a minor flush in the fall. So it does have the potential to bloom twice a year. The flowers are long lasting, 2-3 months, and with the "evergreen" foliage it can quickly turn into a specimen size plant. This plant requires intermediate light and prefers a lot of water especially in the summer months. All plants are shipped with care and handling instructions. This is our attempt to add color to the Dendrobium "Latouria" section. The flower is mostly white with some purple veining in the petals and sepals. The lip is purple highligted with dark purple veins. It is primarily a winter, spring bloomer with a minor flush in the fall. So it does have the potential to bloom twice a year. The flowers are long lasting, 2-3 months, and with the "evergreen" foliage it can quickly turn into a specimen size plant. Dendrobium Anosmum is a deciduous orchid that blooms in the late winter, early spring months. Leaves can be expected to start dropping off in the early winter months and buds will soon follow. This is a highlight plant that prefers the outdoors in the summer months. It likes to be fertilized and watered heavily during the summer as well.
